Senior Energy Manager

Senior Energy Manager Cambridgeshire £45000 - £50000 Permanent
 
We are looking for a Senior Energy Manager to join our team and grow a wide range of energy management services, providing advice to our strong portfolio of customers. Initially the role will be focused in the UK, but the role has the potential to support ista customers across specific EU countries. 
 
Your Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and develop strong relationships with existing clients to maintain/increase services and revenues from key accounts
  • Drive targeted business development activities
  • Implement annual energy audits in order to identify opportunities for savings Build business cases for delivering savings to clients, presenting financial proposals for energy efficiency opportunities
  • Support clients with their annual compliance audits
  • ESOS reporting including transport data
  • Provide compliance with the new streamlined Energy and Carbon reporting (SECR) framework to our clients
  • Attend client meetings
  • Undertake site surveys
  • Travel nationally and internationally to implement company projects
 
Your background, Skills and Attributes:
  • Degree qualification (energy/sustainability / environmental related preferably)
  • ESOS assessor preferred or capable of achieving this is desirable; ista will provide training where necessary
  • Project management and programme delivery experience 
  • Experience of financial investment appraisal techniques 
  • Strong communicator both written and verbal
  • Strong commercial knowledge and the ability to develop new business opportunities 
  • High level of competence in the use of IT, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Excellent numeracy skills
  • Passion for problem solving
  • Highly organised and strong attention to detail Positive, can-do attitude with aptitude and desire to learn
  • Analytical
  • Team Player
  • Full UK driving licence
